Every plotted term satisfies a = kL + d. Coordinates use natural logarithms. In the weight–level projection, equal scales make the diagonal k = L meaningful. For fixed l = a − d, kL = l is a hyperbola in raw coordinates and a straight line in log coordinates.
Unclassified terms have k = L = 0 and cannot appear on logarithmic axes. Counts describe computed data, not asymptotic densities.
